Attention all users - Please update your Firefox extension
It just came to our attention that we have been offering an older version of the extension on our site. We figured this out because many of you (our users) informed us that the margin was open by default in every new browser window including pop-up windows.
This is not normal behavior.
If this describes your current Reframe It experience please update to the latest extension (1.1.3.20090302) by going to:
Tools > Add-ons > Find Updates (Extensions tab - lower left corner) > Install Updates
The Add-ons page - “Find updates” is in the lower left corner
This will solve the problem. The margin will not be open by default in pop-up windows and it will remember its open/closed state across new tabs and windows. Please remember you can toggle the margin open/closed by clicking the Reframe It icon in the lower left corner of your browser or by pressing: command / on Mac or control / on a PC
Sorry for the trouble. If you have any problems contact us at support@reframeit.com.

Hi guys,
I just reloaded the firefox mac version. No can do on the fix. When I bring up NPR.org and hit hourly news, the pop-up loses half the real estate to your gear…
Is there a bit I need to flip?
Andy
Andy,
Could you just double-check and tell me what version of the browser you are using? (From the Add-ons control panel.) Also, what browser/OS? Sorry for the inconvenience.
–David
Hi,
Every time that I open up Firefox, both the sidebar and the tutorial webpage come up. How can I stop tbis? By the way, the website is not one of my homepages.
Thanks,
Campbell
HI Campbell,
I just uploaded a new version of the Firefox extension to Mozilla Add-ons which I believe will fix the issue you, and many others unfortunately, are experiencing. It will take a couple of days for it to work through moderation, however, you can give it try by downloading it from here (http://reframeit.s3.amazonaws.com/extensions/latest/firefox.xpi). Once you have it downloaded, open it by doing a File -> Open under Firefox and Firefox should install it for you. Please let us know if the new version solves the problem for you. You can reach me directly by emailing me via my first name @reframeit.com.

The update yout provided (http://reframeit.s3.amazonaws.com/extensions/latest/firefox.xpi) fixed bot problems for me, thanks!
This has nothing to do with this post but just a few days ago, I started getting email notifications for a post I’ve been watching since like forever. Well I want to stop getting email notifications, I unsubscribed from all my notifications and yet I keep getting more. I also tried to find a way to unwatch that page and get what, I can’t! This is very frustrating and annoying, especially since my email to support has been ignored. Please fix this ASAP and delete my account. I don’t need this kind of aggravation.
@Johnny,
I apologize on behalf of everyone at Reframe It for the unwanted emails recently. Our engineering team has been working on our notification system over the past week to make it more robust. Unfortunately, we deployed some code that didn’t quite work as expected resulting in the emails you mentioned. We believe we have fixed these issues and will be deploying the fixes over the next couple of days.
I also apologize for us not responding to your support emails. Unfortunately, the amount of spam we receive on the that channel makes it difficult for us to find genuine emails. If you have any further questions, I can be reached via brian@ .
